WTF!!! Is this Florida or Mexico? Fox calling for calm
IFE has declared the election too close to call and will start a manual recount starting on Wed! Hopefully Fox will close the market, the idea of two days with the chance of Lopez Obrador and there will be nothing left of the IPC.

What problem do you have with leftist governments, Roy? Our swas a leftist government for a long itme - and is intermittantly since. Maybe Oradror (man di I mangle that spelling)is the right answer - if Mexico wants him, it is their country and they have a right to elect who they wish. What did he say that was so controversial - he was going to help the poor? That's the only thing I've read that has gotten the elites all a twitter. Oh - and distance Mexico fromt eh U.S. in foreign affiars - taht can only be a good thing, IMHO.
As a student of Latin America - I for one am heartened by the recent shift away from U.S. backed, rights violating death squad utilizing authoritarian governments. If it makes American coporate interests uneasy, then it MUST be a good thing.

Man- he's a gun-totin' Marxist heir to Che alright - wanting Mexican and American capitalists to invest in Mexican industries. I'm shaking in my boots with trepidation.
