You are of course saying that he is telling the truth as far as what he thinks?

This is a weird time, I can't tell you how many posts there are on Democratic boards saying "Pat Buchanan was right about the Jews." quite sick.

oh goodness - of course I meant he was speaking his true feelings.

Salon has a good articlea bout why Mel won't suffer the fate he deserves. I've neverreally liked him - he plays to fast and loose with facts (Braveheart) and, of course, is a raging bigot and chauvenist.

I didn't think you did, it's just amazing how weird things get with people when Israel is dropping bombs.

I've always thought he was an idiot, but I don't get that concerned with what actors say, I agree with the shut up sing and dance, monkey! For both the left and right of Hollywood.

Well, you know that his Dad sort of "founded" his own church, right? It's sort of a catholicy-sect/cult-ish like thingy. (though I've only heard a little bit about it. My slinky sensor went off and I was afraid to learn anymore about it. creepy) So yeah, I think he was raised with some rather odd ideas about things, so the anti-sematism doesn't shock me.

I've always liked him as an actor. ANd I don't really buy into the cult of personality that surrounds actors. Actors are actors, not history teachers, or philosophers, or political analysts. Yeah, they are entitled to their opinions, but their opinion should have no more weight than yours or mine. I think too often they get sucked into their own hype, and think they are a little bit above the rest of the rabble.
